This animation is based upon the Hyperion shape model and map of Phil Stooke. Saturn was created synthetically based on colors sampled from photos. Saturn is set at the appropriate distance and Hyperion was given a bit of a tilt and twist to relect its chaotic rotation. The view angle is 40 degrees. |
