The Hubble Space Telescope's Advanced Camera for Surveys studied the asteroid Ceres for a full nine-hour rotational period. The observations represent the most complete view of Ceres, showing that the asteroid has a round shape like Earth and may have a rocky core and a thin crust, also like our planet.
